Panda was sozzled,
remember my post about the puppy? and the vet asking had he had any alcohol?
well.....................previous to Tesco's shopping delivery Pip and i tidied the kitchen (rare for us) sometime ago i had made fruit vodka, some time ago i drank all the vodka but left the fruit
it wasn't till last night and after Casper had helped himself to a whole box of Bonios that i thought it was a good idea to put the dog treats in the glass flip top jars that had previously held the fruit vodka, Pip started to put them in before saying she didn't think it was a good idea as the jars stank of alcohol..............
i looked at Pip and she looked at me as realisation dawned,
i'd put the fruit in the bin, puppy went in the bin, puppy ended up at the vets,
i haven't told my dad we now know what really happened, i think i may well be handed back the £150 vet bill. ???

At least you know that it wasn't the pickled eggs! :D :D :D :D
(PS too late now, but the fruit is good with ice cream!)

i think if i'd have eaten the fruit i would have ended up at the vets too :tongue2:

Oooops poor pickled puppy panda

and try saying that when you're pickled

Oh dear... Not pickled but "Pickled"
-
when Sam found out he said "well, if he likes alcohol he certainly found the right home then"
???

it had been there for weeks, sitting on the kitchen dresser smirking at me, every bit of fruit squeezed to within an inch of it's life for the last drops of voddy :tongue2:
anyway it looked inedible and didn't smell much better and made my eyes water, some collies have no taste buds

I have to say that I thought it was odd whenyou told us the pickled eggs were to blame ;)
Glad you've got to the bottom of it though and the puppy is better. Bruce has learnt how to flick the kitchen bin lid up with his nose now, so we have to be careful what we throw away!!

if i remember correctly the strawberry voddy was lovely, the blueberry even better, the orange to die for but the pear was absolutely disgusting, way too sweet, i don't know how but i managed to force it down :D i think it was the pears that Panda ate, i thought it was a tea bag :tongue2:
