Have a brand new one of these.

I have used it once about 2 years ago.

Of course now I want to use it down the lottie it wont start.


Dont have a hand book for spark plug gap etc.

Any tips on cleaning out and getting working.
NOT ARF !

i have one it does the same,  if you have had petrol in it for the last couple years its probably stale .. drain the tank completly .. take the spark plug out ,wire brush it .your manual should have gap settings but i doubt it has changed .. now making sure its switched off . open the choke  and pull the engine through a good dozen times .... this will clear any fuel left in the carb.... refill the fuel carrier tank with unleaded petrol mixed 2 stroke =50/1 motorcycle oil . shake can well pour into genny tank .replace the plug  let stand for a few mins .pull the engine through with the choke open still . now switch the  genny on  it may have a primer button make sure this is depressed ready to start .it should now restart ... if you intend to put it away for a long time empty the fuel tank and run the engine till it cuts out from fuel starvation :wink: ,,,werks for me
