Some people have been posting that beetroot and horseradish cooked together are sort of traditional. How do I do it please.

I remember my grandfather used to make his own beet and horseradish mix. Just a bit of beets for colour and the rest was horseradish - strong enough to blow the hair off your head  and nostrils

I have had horseradish growing for years, never got round to trying it till this weekend with some beef, didn't know what to do with it so grated it and poured a little boiling water over it, a little on the side ofthe plate wasn't enough! must start using it more, seemed to go with the potatoes very well as well.
Found recipes via 'google' since then, I will certainly be using it more in future

I put creamed horseradish over plain (warm ) boiled beetroot.

Clears your sinuses, and is really scrummy
