Title: Hello from Freckleton, Lancs

Good morning to all, have been reading up on some of the excellent advice on here over the last couple of months, so have signed up to contribute/learn/chat.

I'm in my third year of allotment gardening, having 'played at it' for a few years before with a 12' x 6' bed in the back garden. Thoroughly enjoying it, and the satisfaction of eating produce you pulled out of the ground a couple of hours beforehand is immeasurable.

If you pop your general location into your forum profile we'll remember whereabouts you are, and it's often relevant when chatting about growing stuff because climate can vary.

I had to look Freckleton up as the name sounds too good to be true!
