or is it just mine.  Getting them to bed tonight consisted of lying under the neighbours conifers whilst they were encouraged out.  They are absolutely daft

i have to round mine up every night with the clothes prop & say to them, "c'mon time for bed" because they are usually in the pond. I'm usually in my jamas myself. What a sight.

Mine need reminding to go to bed every night or thy would happily sit out all night. Luckally they know yhe drill so aren't too much fuss to get to bed. Now on the otherhand, if o need to put them away earlier in the afternoon if I'm out for the night, they are not at all impressed and much indignified running about can ensue!

I must say mine are very good. The chooks and ducks go to bed at 2000. and the ducks are lined up or sat just outside waiting.

Mind you they do get mealworms every night to go to bed so think that helps, and as long as they have worms when being locked in will go in any time of day. Just rattle the pot and they come waddling.
