butternut squash

Has anyone had any luck growing butternut squash in a polytunnel i have tried before but never had any luck :(

You problem may be the lack of pollinators (bees). Did you try hand pollinating?
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Thanks dd i did have door and window open occaisionally,maybe not enough ,never thought of hand pollinating as i do with other curcabits and aubergines think ill grow them outside this year. Darren
