Sigh.  Old English spangles, fruit salad and swisskits, how I miss them :(
Does anyone remember swisskits?  No-one I know has heard of them.  There was an ad which went "Would you risk it for a swisskit" Either that or I am delusional again.

As for the lottie, I've ordered two composters from the local council reduced from £50 to £6 each.  Bought green wellies and am going in tomorrow to sort out the wilderness.  Oh, and blag the free perpetual spinach still growing on the plot for our tea.  My back aches just thinking about it.

Thanks for the tip muntjac.  I'm going to plant peas, beans and garlic soon.  Is there anything else that can go in now?

What absolutely stunning weather we have had today, more like september than late november.   :D

I`d also go for the perpetual spinach, growing it for the first time, planted in september and am have cut it for the third time today, nice fresh green leaves this time of the year, nearly as nice as blackjacks.
Sorry but I`ve never heard of swisskits,in our house it was`risk it for a biscuit`.

One of those classic misquotes then, Annie. It happens in all households!

Stick 'Swisskit' into Google & you'll find that those things actually existed.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
