Hi can anybody help with details of the 600cc JAP engine as fitted to the  Howard rotavator series 3 please

Isn't there a file in the "library" on that engine?
I know I down-loaded such a file some time ago... think it was from this group...

600cc  :blink: That's quite  a lot. Just google image, when you search "howard rotavator series 3" shows two different machines. One is like on photo above and another one is ride-on.

I have information on 2 JAP 600 cc industrial engines,the 600 side valve standard (dry sump engine with oil pump and oil stored in a 2 compartment tank shared with the fuel compartment) and the model 6 type 1 that was actually 588 cc, I also have information on the magnetos fitted to both types.
A photo of your engine would be helpfull.
