After a hand mower as petrol is noisy and lawn not near a plug socket!! Which one is good?

I've got a B&Q "performance" push thing.

I very much get the impression that unless your lawn is completely flat and moss / weed free you will struggle with a push mower.

Mine cuts short grass reasonably, but the first sign of moss or if the grass gets too long its worse than useless. If at all possible Id look at a very long extension cord.
