very productive morning thanks to Jewsons!

my 8bhp rotavator (?) arrived at 8am this morning for the weekend rental. Cleared all the dodo off the pile of dirt we call the garden and gave it a good going over - looks great! Stoked! Going to give it another pass tomorrow morning.

Next weekend we have a big bag of sharp sand, a big bag of loam and a big bag of top soil arriving to spread over the newly rotatated area. Our soil was just solid clay this morning so hoping this will help it.

Part of it will become a lawn and the other part to be the start of my new series of raised veg beds!!!

Sounds like a bit of a beast at 8hp

We've got a tractor dealer nearby but Val says I'd never get one on the plot
