Roast pork chop and spuds, with peas and carrots.

Alan Titchmarsh. He seems so down to earth, I feel I could really have a chat with him, rather than have to be careful what I was saying....

I have curry munchies.... hopefully the CBA fairy leaves me alone to make one.

Grey overcast not as hot as it has been but feels very oppressive, it's been very stuffy since late yesterday.  It's supposed to break later today and I've just had a flood warning from Alexa.  :nowink:

Hmmm...

Mine would have to be a dinner party:

David Attenborough
Billy Connolly
Judy Dench
Nelson Mandela
Neil  Armstrong
Marie Curie

I'd like to be a fly on the wall,  just observing.

Ark Wildlife are good too - they do some specialist mixes.  https://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/  We like the ones without wheat in them, as only the pigeons seem to eat it.

Chatting on the Plot / What is your fantasy bucket list?

Mine would be to meet David Suchet (see other post), to have a book published, as in either my updated research into Cockersand Abbey or my poems wot I rote, to go to the Lake District and dip my toes in one of the lakes with a glass of Champagne and a smoked salmon sandwich by my side, and to be able to afford another Hebridean cruise where I could pay for my dearest people (with me of course) to cruise the Scottish islands one more time. What's yours?

Mine has to be David Suchet because his acting is superb! Currently, I'm going through his Poirot DVDs and am blown away by the so subtle facial changes he makes which you'd never be able to see on stage. I also have his book on how he "became" Poirot which displays the attention to detail he had and how true his portrayal is. I've only got one more DVD to watch and that's the one when Poirot dies. Added to that, he is a real gentleman who is both modest and proud of what he 's done.

Oh, I so agree AS! I will be 76 in June and someone yesterday told me I don't act like it. My reply was I jolly well hope not! I presume they meant I behave like a forty-year old rather than a centerian!!   :tongue2:
