Hi
Has anyone else noticed that when a hen starts to lay her whole personality can change.
One of our Welsummers came into lay for the first time a few weeks ago and from then she is more friendly and confident, she is now one of the first out when its time to free range and she now hangs around with the other laying hens.
Where as the two that are still to lay stay together and tend to hang back a bit.
