Not sure if this should be here but if anyone can help?

I have a stable to house the ducks and geese but the approach to it has been left a while and there are some serious brambles there.  I have strimmed it and got rid of the worse but need to get rid of the hard stems and runners in a way that won't harm the animals so obv chemicals are out.  Any ideas??

thanks
Sandra

Yep digging would be best,
