[Springlands]

My hens go to bed at about 9.00 but the ducks are still running about at about 10.30 and last night they absolutely refused to go to bed for me. In the end I had to get OH to shut them in.  The hens and ducks are in separate houses in the same run so I normally lock them up at the same time. If I tried to lock the hens up at 9.00 they would try to come out again - I think that they just like to look around for a while.

I couldn't understand how it could possibly work....until i got it.  I have had it for nearly 3 years now and never had a problem, the only time I have had to be careful is in the first couple of days when I introduce new birds.  It's ace, it was about £100 but worth every penny.

my girls are currently going about 9-30 but the other day they were in the garden when it poured down and they stayed out until ten just pecking about
