Laying all year round

What breeds lay all year round? This is my first year keeping hens and I assumed they all went off in the winter unless you installed lighting.But reading another post on here it suggests that there are breeds that lay all year,excluding the moult I presume.Knowledge is a wonderful thing!

I think it depends on the age as well - hybrids are prolific egg layers (the Amber and Gold Star/Warren I have are proving to be very good layers) and in their first year especially if you get them in late summer, will most likely lay during the winter with no special lighting - my girls even peaked in January with an egg from each one every single day for a good 5 weeks solid.  By the second winter this tails off
