i keep trying to grow Brunswick cabbage I've had several attempts even bought new seed but still can't get them going so where am i going wrong i ask myself and more to the point has anyone had better luck than me at growing this cabbage and could advise me what I'm doing wrong call myself a cabbage grower

Did you sow them early in the year?  Feb/March is recommended by King - perhaps, like most brassicas, they simply don't like being sown when it is too warm 
Try again next spring RW - I'm sure the weather will be different by then

yes i did sow around  March time Mum but i note your advise and i have got quite a lot seed left but as the sealed packet has been opened i guess i will need to keep the seed dry SO I'm going to put the seed in a sealed jar?
