Had my first strawberries a couple of weeks ago - which I thought was very early but I was picking rasps today - and lovely they were too. But on the 1st June!!!

My rasberries are no way near ready yet, bet they were delicious.   :)

My raspberry cane from the expensive garden centre is dead as a doornail.  However, my cheapo Lidl fruit bushes are doing fine.  Sigh, it was never meant to be. :cry:

Don't give up on it yet.  I had a row of 'dead' canes but a few have started throwing up canes now so I think they just took a long time to recover.  Am a bit more hopeful for the rest now.

we have loads of strawberries on but they arnt ripe yet,rasps still have a way to go.our gooseberries are massive but as hard as bullets but i think they need a good month or so yet  :)
