I've got an area with some mulch will it be okay to sprinkle these wild seeds over it
metal detector man

Seeds need contact with the soil to germinate well, that is why mulch is good at keeping weeds down.  Wild flowers usually prefer poor soils, but it depends what type you have.  A bit of spare ground without mulch or fertiliser might be better.

Hello I'm going to prepare an area today or tomorrow for wild flower seeds,I'll see if I can get some before and after pics,at the moment the areas 3 feet high of nettle stalks they'll be strimmed to the bare soil then raked off,then going in with the big scarifier  with aerator blades set at an inch deep to make slots for the seed ,hopefully thr birds dont get any    jezza
