mine are ripening at different rates, although at least this is giving me a steady supply ..i have had 12 good ones so far, although the first couple could have done with a bit more sunshine, they were absolutely delicious

i have about 30 more at different stages of ripening.  i agree with the peeling back problem, i peeled one back a few weeks ago and it has since been stripped bare by something....although at least whatever ate it is leaving the rest alone (for the moment, anyway)
