As the title says...we now have 3 lovely hens, all hybride.
1 Brown Nick, 1 Rhode Rock and 1 Silver Link :)
All dutifully named by the kids lol
They have been laying since we got them, 2 eggs the first day and then 3 everyday since :D :D
2 of our girls lay very early and we awaken to 2 lovely eggs then one of them lays around 9-10am! (don't know who is doing which lol).
But I have a question to ask.......the one hen that is laying slightly later (I think it is the Rhode rock) has been giving us double yolkers...3 in a row so far, (we've only had them 4 whole days!)! Is this a normal thing? Should I be concerned?
Thanks for your help x

Congratulations on getting your hens, don't worry about the double yolkers as the hen will eventually settle down and lay normal single ones :).
