Can any one recommend a variety of bush tomato which we can grow outdoors up here in the North East of England?  Any advice on when to plant, how to 'manage' them, would also be gratefully received!  Thanks.  :D
Still glowing, still growing, still going strong!

Sub/Arctic plenty was designed for the North and it is a good grower, it's a bit fleshy for my liking, but flavour is OK, good to start with.

Planting out June, so only worth sowing before mid April, if you have warm place for large plants.

Thanks, Gobs, I'll look out for that variety when we do our round of local garden centres.  Jean

Sub Arctic Plenty is copper-bottomed but I would bung a few Gardeners Delight as well.
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.
