Cumin isn't germnating

I don't know why but I have sown Cumin seeds following instructions indoors under a small cloche but 3 weeks later and not one seed has germinated  :(

 Is this hard to get going ?

They usually only take 1 to 2 weeks so perhaps your seed is not viable.  Try some on wet kitchen paper to see if it germinates
