Gigandes Plaki (Gigandes beans in tomato sauce cooked in the oven) with garlic flatbread and salad bits on the side.

Fried duck eggs, roast butternut,  parsnip chips and red Russian kale.

Beef burger in wholemeal roll and a mixed salad

Basa fillet in lemon/pepper crumb coating with peas and coleslaw.

Beef bourguignon with crusty baguette and the first of a great many glasses of red wine this evening.

Lamb chops, roasted onion,potatoes & parsnips with peas,carrots &broccoli, with plenty of gravy

Home made Chilli with pilua rice and 1/2 a baghette

Minced lamb, onion, swede and potatoes (like pasty filling but no pastry  ) with some peas.

Fish and chips for me, gammon, egg and chips for himself.  We often have seperate  meals as I really don't like gammon and prefer fish.

Indian takeaway here last night as we had both had a long week.

Just got meatballs out of the freezer for today.  I have plot leeks that need eating up and I want mashed potatoes and gravy, so they will give me a perfect excuse

I've just got lamb chops out of the freezer, they looked more bone than meat, so 2 it is!
Greek salad and lemon roast potatoes to go with them.
I can pretend I'm still in Zante where it's a sunny 17C today

Chicken thighs, with all coloured peppers (except green !) red onion, pulse beans, and potatoes, tin tomatoes and the Sumac.  All in the casserole, in the oven - done.   Mrs Bouquet
