I can grow spring onions lol how funny what people have trouble with

But they're related to cucumbers, in that they just fiddle about for ages, then do nothing BQ!

We've got five eight ft rows of the things, and as sure as eggs is eggs, they'll be all nasty and silly by July!

are confessions hard to grow then? I've not tried them yet

I presume you have to be careful where they go - to get the best out of them  ::) or you might end up with Love-lies-bleeding...............

Horseraddish.   Love the stuff. Wont grow for me.
Sometimes my plants grow despite, not because of, what I do to them.

Well it would seem I can't grow Sweetcorn (admittedly it's my first year of trying) Chitting in the airing cupboard failed, and now the ones planted in pots don't seem to be doing anything either.

Onions.

Garlic, shallots, chives, no problems but can't do onions for love nor money !

I'm not hugely keen on rhubarb but everyone else loves it we have taken 42 stems so far and the plant is going wild, it just won't slow down

celeriac - first year I sowed 70 seeds - a handful germinated then died.
             - second year bought plug plants - we had that funny mini summer in March and most bolted - those
that didn't were not very impressive.

Peppers this year - I still have some overwintered peppers, but this years seedlings are still not passed the 2 leaf stage and its been weeks!

I have always struggled with lettuce from seed in the past till this year I picked up 2000 seeds, that red curly lettuce from amazon and they have been so easy, not sure why we have never managed before. I purchased them because they were 99p for 2000 so I figured if I only got 3 or 4 lettuce from the whole pack I was still in profit.
