Been watching this on ebay 6.5 HP Straton Rotovator (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-6-5-BRIGGS-STRATTON-GARDEN-TILLER-ROTOVATOR_W0QQitemZ250205524542QQihZ015QQcategoryZ112594QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)
How much would you bid on it?
-
That's a picture of a brand new one. Is it a new one you're bidding for ?
-
Yeah it's the new one
I'm not bidding yet just whatching
-
Same guy's sold 3 this month 1 for £300 and 2 for £255. (coincidence that 2 went for exactly the same amount)?
-
tried and tested engine  I agree, but the rest looks like its bean tins  IMO  get a good old one probs last you longer with less hastle
-
briggs dont make rotovators, just engines. I wonder where the rest of it is made, and by whom? :?

Yeah I was wondering that :? I'm a bit dubious about this I think I'll look for a used one that needs doing up
-
Titan was a name used by Merrytiller. It does look a bit tinny for the massive great engine on it. And the blades look very weak. But I expect it would be OK. It would certainly dig a fare bit of allotment with 3 blades a side.
-
Well we'll find on Thursday when it gets delivered!
-
Would be nice to see some pics of it in action when you get a chance. Do you feel complete now :D
-
Well done Seadart - how much did you get it for in the end? I'm going to hire one this year but we have been looking on ebay too.
-
It was £230 plus delivery, we're hoping to get it up the allotment at the weekend weather depending
-
Imagine my suprise when a chipper shredder turned up instead of my rotovater
-
It's all going well then
-
sounds like time for a trade in
-
When I phoned the seller he wasn't all that bothered as this happens all the time! So now I have to wait till Tuesday to get it! If he expects a good rating from me he's had it!

Are they collecting the chipper when they deliver the rotavator?
-
Have you seen the film Fargo? Interesting use of a chipper in that.
-
I managed to get the rotovator delivered  I filled the oil up put some fuel in switched on little bit of choke pulled the cord and it fired up first time :D :D :D Whizzed down our small bit of garden in about 30 secs with me holding on for dear life! Took it up the allotment but it was too wet to use it properly But I think it's going to make a big difference
