Hi can anyone tell me will all the flowers on our courgette plants turn to fruit? also once the flower is out is there any speacial care i need to do? cheers Neil.

The male flowers which are likely to appear first, have a thin stalk behind them. The female flowers form the courgettes (fatter stalks) which you pick and eat. No special care, just leave them to it.

The male ones won't!

These are the ones with a thin stem behind them, the females have a small, embryonic courgette behind them.

You can pollinate the female with a male if you wish,  but I usually find nature is OK.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
