Title: 4 Eggs already!!! : )

So chuffed with my new girlies already 4 eggs since i got them on Tuesday. My son is sat enjoying a couple boiled with soldier men now. Hes been sat nattering away to the girls all day in the garden and now when ever he goes to the run they come rushing to the side tilting there heads and listening  :lol: When i do a poop scoop in there coop first thing of a morning they all come up and try to help  ::) i get a neat pile going and they come and scratch it all up lol. Cant believe how lovely natured they are in just a couple of days so glad i went for it in the end they are so much fun. :) :)

You can't beat fresh eggs from your own chooks and I'm glad your son is enjoying chatting to them and eating the eggs  :)

I'm really enjoying our's too, but have only had one egg. We need another so we can both have one! :D

I wish my girls were as friendly!

Had them coming up 4 weeks now and they feed out of our hands and follow us around (thinking we have treats) but will not let us move towards them without running away! They also don't do "picking up"...  :unsure:

one of mine called nugget is stupidly friendly to the point i wonder if she is really a chicken lol :lol: I know i was shocked at how friendly they were without even that much effort so i must have just been lucky  :)

We tend to get mobbed when we go into the pen, whether that is because they want something or they are being friendly............... :D

They have been unfazed by us and the dogs from day one, and hang around us all when out in the garden, despite the dreaded Bella dog trying to get to sniff (or worse!) their bums! :tongue2:

And we are getting two eggs every day already. I can understand why people get obsessed! :lol:
