Ivermectin and eggs.

Hi Everyone,

Have just managed to get rid of the red mites......long job. I got some Xeno 50 minis from the vet  which is a ivermectin based drop, miracles after miracles all their feathers have come back and the look like real chucks again, appart from Vi who has a sour crop again and poorly sick after i thought we had cracked it with her. Annnnyyyyywaaaay, did them over a week ago and they are laying again, can we eat the eggs. What do other people do?
Have read a few threads on it and my vet mate mention nothing. Hmmmmmmmm
