Hello all.
I'm new to this forum and new to having an allotment.
I have had my half plot since April this year and have never grown anything before.  Successfully grew potatoes (all harvested) and dwarf french beans but my Tiny Tim tomatoes look as if they've picked up blight and I'm devastated as I'd nursed them since March 😢 
I do have 1 beetroot (the allotment foxes have dug the others out) and am protecting it so that I can eat it!

My plot is still a bit of a mess but slowly getting there, and have made a couple of really good friends.

Hi, sounds like you've made a great start! I think most people have suffered with blight this year, the weather has been particularly dreadful.

Hi there, great to get a plot, sad you’ve lost some things but that’s just how it is some years, just try again next year, hope that beetroot tastes good
