Something new
« on: January 22, 2014, 00:41 »
Evening all.
After years of trying and failing with aubergines, I have decided to give their space in the greenhouse to something else this year. Got space for my toms, cucumbers, peppers and chillis. Anyone any suggestions for another greenhouse veg to grow?

Cucamelons in the greenhouse were prolific for me.  Grown up a narrow trellis.  Not the most exciting salad veg, but good if you like variety in your salad.

sweet potato but they take a lot of room.
Can also grow slightly earlier sowings and then late sowings of usually outside crops such as dwarf beans, salad stuff, strawberries etc.
