New allotmenteer
« on: March 23, 2021, 11:48 »
I've just taken up tenancy of my first allotment. I am a total novice and a bit worried that I will fail completely.
I have 8 rods, which is more than I'd wanted but the others on offer were even bigger and this one was in the best condition. It's been vacant for a year, so there's still some work to do. When the keys finally show up.

Hello and welcome to our forum.. taking on a plot as a novice can sometimes be a bit overwhelming, but don't be afraid to ask questions no matter if you think they may sound silly.. we all started as beginners once upon a time!
Good luck!

No worries - unless you give up there isn't any way of failing completely. Some you win & some you learn from.
It'll never be perfect but you'll have a great time.
