free large plastic drums

hi, to all members.i am new to forum.i was browsing net for water butts and came across this forum.its very usefull thing where we can all sorts of advice on gardening etc.does anybody know where i can get large food grade plastic drums .large one like 500 ltr plus are very expensive to buy.they be used to store rain water for gardening.aneas or advice could be helpfull.thanks

Try your local freecycle group.... just google to find it..
Now a member of the 10 Ton club.... 2013  harvested 588 Kg from 165 sq mt..

i work in a food factory myself.we use to have large blue barells but not any more.we have small one which are no good for water storage.

Some dairy chemicals are supplied in the 205 litre (40 gallon) blue drums... if you can gain access to a supplier or a farm.

Fleabay have them as low as £20 - £30 sometimes as well... give them a try.
