It seems a long time since we had such a long spell of heavy summer rain. Anyone else sick of it? Every single thing I want to do is put on hold. Gardening, get some veg picked for my tea tonight, clean my car, cut the lawns, go for a walk, sweep the drive........ You name it. Only option until Rugby League on BBC at 4.30 and then sit and read Sunday paper after tea tonight is to yet again put the vacuum through!

Thank you for forwarding the rain.  We had steady drizzle from 5pm yesterday and it got heavier about 10pm and has carried on all night.  It's slowing down now.

 It's barely stopped raining for well over a month. Today it's windy, frequent showers and I'm wearing a thick pullover because it's cold in that wind. Lawns are green though.

I was down on the plot on Friday evening, took a proper look at it, and was shocked by the weed growth 

At least the rain meant that the weeds came out easily yesterday
