Just noted RHS are doing a survey on this very topic and inviting people to send details of what they have lost and what has survived unexpectedly.
I'm sure somebody can find a link for this - beyond me !

Thought that i must have lost the HH fuchias in the pots by the door , so decided to clear the pots ready for new ones.
Low and behold as i pulled out the compost and 'dead' plant it came out mostly in 1 piece and there are new shoots coming from below soil level Hastily repotted it
So be careful what you chuck away things may yet come back....too early to write things off..........

I've lost all my geraniums, kept in a greenhouse all winter.  Thought I'd lost my fuschias too but they are all now sprouting from the base, so all may not be lost after all. A friend is a member of the National Geranium Society and there have been heavy losses this winter reported.

We've got two types on mint - in bottomless pots - and yes one of them is looking dead.  Its Morrocan Mint so perhaps it is little more tender than the other bog standard stuff.

My very common mint looked dead in January but is suddenly showing itself again so no panic.

Strangley some of our fuschias supposedly only frost hardy have survived
