So,
I've stuck my bag of poo in a bucket of water and am waiting to pour it onto my onions (amnd I presume my leeks once they are in and my garlic too?)
How often should I do this - and how strong should it be (I ain't tastin' it!)
thanks.

Eeewww... My grandad used to do that
He soaked it for quite a long time, it was very dark with an oil slick on top if you know what I mean. I think he used about a tea cup or less of this diluted in a watering can.

Don't feed your garlic later than the end of this month.

I would use it only every 3 or so weeks as it's pretty potent stuff, and as WG says, avoid it on early finishing crops like garlic, early spuds, etc.

i wash my spade and fork in the water butts and they've (butt water) been getting quite dark from the manure. ive been watering everything with it including spuds and onions. hope i havent been doing harm
