Camouflage??
« on: September 26, 2011, 13:49 »
I have just spotted on of my girls hidden under some trees, sat down, pulling up leaves and twigs and placing them on her back all the time chatting away to herself.

Having never found any random eggs around the garden before, is she getting ready to lay?  She is about 3 and laying pretty regularly, but to be honest had always thought she layed in the nest box before?

Is she just trying to disguise herself as undergrowth??  ???
