You know when you said that some vets carry small amounts of the vaccines, so they buy them in the 1000 doses like commercially used?  Well, I've been told by intervet and others on the internet that even if you only use a small amount of the vaccine, whatever is left can't be saved it has to be chucked out as its contaminated by then!!  True?  False?

 what  have seen is small pippetes of the vaccine  sold by the vet priced up to 12 birds at £6 the small doses are taken from the bottle containing the mayor dose

Mmmmmm, if we do decide to vaccinate, the 1000 dose will work out cheaper, even if we do have to throw some away.  I've still got a couple of weeks to decide.

hi, this might be a totally silly idea, but you may have already noticed that i tend to think abit sideways

would it not be possible for those of us who would like to vaccinate to buy it between us.

surely once opened it has at least a week or so to be used as no one could do 1000 chooks in a day
