Hi all this is my first time on Allotment gardening so excuse me if I post it in the wrong place.
I have a Ryobi strimmer that runs fine I cleaned the carb and got it to run as lean as possible it reacts fine. Now the problem is that it smokes a lot even without any mixture it smokes a lot but runs fine.

1. cleaned the carb
2. changed the mixture to a lean fuel / air mixture
3. removed all petrol with oil mixture and replaced it with normal unleaded without extra oil
4. cleaned the spark plug

I have solved my issues mostly there must have been old oil in the cilinder or somethign after running it for a while it seems to cleared up

hi the white smoke is probably out of the crankcase if the mixtures been too rich there wil be oil left in the crankcase dont run it for too long with out any oil it will seize solid or you could have a con rod flying past your lughole  jezza
