i was told that you don't have to use the non seeding variety as long as you pinch out the seed pods before they set, and that they spread using the root system more than by spreading seeds.

this makes sense to me but i won't know for a couple of years how this theory will work.

On allotment the comfrey on other plots will probably not be bocking14 so I wouldn't worry  about it. Just plant what you are given & stand well back. :lol:
