Armitage Pet Care Flea and Tick drops for dogs has been distributed in packaging labelled for cats meaning even a small dose of the drops can be fatal.
The company said an "unknown quantity" of Armitage Pet Care Flea and Tick Drops for Dogs, which contains permethrin, have been sent out in packaging labelled Armitage Flea Drops for Cats and Kittens.
Owners Bio-Tech Solutions has recalled the following products:
•Armitage Pet Care Flea and Tick Drops for Dogs 702mg spot-on solution (Vm 20205/4003)
•Armitage Flea Drops for Cats and Kittens
