Rent a field?? for a few parsnips?? No, I don't think so, I'll just support the local economy and buy them when available.

The advantage of them being a rarity is that they are treated with a lot more respect! I'm making mine into a souffle. Yumm. Merry Christmas to you all - I'm off to start celebrating.
