The Pyraminds at Gizza
« on: August 30, 2021, 16:02 »
I went on a virtual trip here yesterday.  The guide is very good and we went on a camel.   He has a strong accent and I didn't catch all he said.  I did however, wonder at them.  Somebody said they are very small and hot and cramped inside.   How did they do it ?  Nobody seems to know, but at the end of the day,  from this peasant, they looked like a pile of stones, in a dusty, dry, hot and arrid landscape.   Glad I didn't go for real. Mrs Bouquet.    Hope this doesn't offend anybody, its just my opinion.

So why did the Egyptians build the pyramids so close to the suburbs of Cairo?

Cheers,  Tony.
