first time ciabatta maker

Hi all thought i would try some ciabatta buns as we love the ones from asda , i ussed a quick holliwood recipe he did say it was wet but this was so wet anyway persevered when it didnt rise i started off another one from a different recipe which was a bit easier to handle anyway they are cooked not the big holes i had hoped for , they tast ok and are many different shapes helpfull hint would be greatfully recieved or a tryed and trusted recipe please .

It really is a wet dough, I mix it in my breadmaker and found it does rise if you leave it long enough in the placcy box.

I did leave it a good while i found his buns browned nice but the other recipe were a bit pale i usually like to toast them when i use them favourite sandwich is cajun mayo chicken on lettuce yum.

I've used that recipe too, it does work, but I think the secret is to handle the risen dough as little as possible to keep the air in it, so that it has the holes.

Hubby likes the buns even though there is a lack of big holes in them they are tasty .
