Has the hen stopped laying permanently or due to molt or broodiness?

If you have other hens it may be a problem to put other feed out as they will all want what the other has.

When I have a broody I put her in a hutch and feed her on growers pellets until the chicks hatch then change her to chick crumb.  My older chicks are on growers but they have their own enclosure and are let out to freerange around 11 am.  Still catch the adult hens sneaking into the chick enclosure to pinch the growers pellets though!   ::)
