Ive noticed that some of my aubergines are rotting on the plant -see photograph. Does anyone know why this is happening. Also on one plant the flowers have died off!

Like tomatoes they can get 'blossom end rot' if not watered evenly.

Probably because I had to dog sit last week and couldn't water everyday!
Hopefully they will be back on course now
