hi guys i live on a boat and have a woodburner ,have plenty of wood ash everyday.what can i do with it on the allotment?compost?anything? yes im very new to this. :?

Use as you would use lime.

Ah!  :D

Use lime to decrease soil acidity for crops such as cabbages, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, etc.   There is a Glossary if you follow the Help link in my signature (hint: vote for the Will option)

There are also many pages in the Information section at the top of your screen.
