I have some lovely looking Music garlic coming along well, planted last October.  I was expecting to see some flower scapes on this variety, and looking forward to eating them too.  However, there is no sign of them as yet. 

Do they always have scapes, or is it a bit more variable than that?  Or am I being impatient, do they only appear just before harvest at the end of June or July?

Mine were late this year by about 3 weeks. Just picked most of them off yesterday. Don't panic they will arrive

I wish mine didn't put out scapes and make bigger bulbs, but they never obey  When the weather warms up a bit in your area, they'll show up.

It was super warm earlier in the week for 3 or 4 days.  Now very cold for the time of year again.  We have gone from 24 degrees down to 10.  Perhaps they will never show up at this rate.
