Bagpuss RIP 1992 - June 2012, 1 huge grass carp (RIP "Jaws" July 2001 - December 2011), 4 golden orfe, 1 goldfish and 1 fantail fish (also huge)! plus 4 Italian quail, 1 Japanese quail, 1 Rosetta quail.

My very first hen (when I was 10) was a Clara  and her cockerel brother was, unsurprisingly,(remember our musical connections!)  Schumann.....  Ours were speckeldy bantams and Clara lived seven years.

Such a great name for a hen.... love yours and wish ours could come inside, too.  :nowink:

I have a "Blondie" - shes a chamois polish hen and she loves being inside. The other day she was perched on my computer lamp!

I never thought when I had the chickens I would end up having one as a pet and lettin it 

in the house ???

But then I shoughd have known if we got down to one that woukd happen as the OH 

would have it ;)

we have taken a guinnie pig rabbit dogs an the chicken on holiday in the caravan :D :D

I am very very upset today as my girls have gone to a new home ahead of us moving into rented accommodation. Waiting in vain o hear they have arrived OK and imagining all sorts. :(
