Harvested a whole carrier bag of basil from the PT as they looked like they were just about to bolt.

Yes it was the garlic I ‘found’ on my plot after the winter that I had no idea when I’d planted lol. It certainly wasn’t planted last autumn so must have been last spring, suddenly started to grow really well & produced good sized bulbs that I lifted awhile back before the hot weather when rain was expected as it had finished & appeared quite dry. But hey ho I’ve got some usable bulbs & cloves hopefully

harvested 8 sweetcorn cobs..i cant believe they are ready (and really delicious), although the nibbles from the local vermin normally tell me when its time to get them in 'quick'. some smaller cobs on each plant will hopefully benefit from this recent rain, fingers crossed.  its the first time I have ever seen 2 different ripening stages on the same plant?

obviously more courgettes :D French beans, salad, runner beans and some charlottes. also sungold and tigerella tomatoes with fresh basil made for a lovely bruschetta last night. :)

Popped down the plot last night to pick the polytunnel pumpkin and the only melon that didn't get munched by the ants. Very tasty if a little small.

From the plot - 1 courgette, a bag of tomatoes, a few spuds, a cabbage and the last of the mini leeks and soy beans.

At home - more tomatoes, an aubergine, a cuke and Trinidad Perfume peppers.
