teeny tiny green caterpillars?

I have several varieties of hardy geraniums and they are slowly getting eaten in tiny holes until there are only leaf veins left.  :shock: kept looking couldnt find anything on them. :?
Today noticed that the same thing has started on the geranium (pelargoniums) in the pots. Had a good look and found tiny green wigglies fallen off onto compost. Any ideas what they are and what I can do before I have nothing left? :cry:

Could be quite a few moths/caterpillars.
